Job Description

ROLE – Heading the HR Function for the Organization. Responsible for the Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.

 

 RESPONSIBILITIES – TECHNICAL

 

TALENT ACQUISITION:-

  • Manpower Budgeting as per Annual Business Plan and charting the manpower deployment in each department for the year, in collaboration with HODs.
  • Oversee the Recruitments across regions PAN India and Corporate Office.
  • Head hunting of National and Strategic roles   
  • Ensure that TAT for recruitment is maintained as per SLAs and Budgeted Plan. Drive effective Salary Negotiation, budgeting and cost control. Ensure Compensation parity is maintained across the organization at each level while designing the compensation with industry benchmarks. 

 

TALENT MANAGEMENT

  • Cultivate an environment for a positive candidate experience and on-boarding experience via well managed and customized Induction processes.
  • Ensure efficient design and delivery of all HR policies and ensure they are in line with industry practices.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and timeliness in all phases of Employee Life Cycle Management from joining till separation. Administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs in the area of benefits, compensation, employee relations, training and development, performance management and organisational development.
  • Be the champion of employee needs; address employee grievances in the best interest of the employee while keeping in perspective the organisation values.
  • Take action against Indiscipline and Misconduct as per Policy.
  • With the help of HODs and Teams, analyse gaps in performance and provide necessary support to  perform and achieve their goals
  • Monitor the performance Appraisal process and ensure its effective implementation.
  • Effective management of Appraisal Process to ensure it is fair and completed on time 
  • Employee communication forums and engagement Initiatives like Quarterly CMD Townhall.

 

REPORTING TO BOARD

Quarterly Board Presentations of HR Performance as per parameters laid by the Board.

CORPORATE EVENTS

Manage corporate Events as per Plan and within Budgets.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Take Initiatives to encourage employees to take time out to give back to the society through monthly Corporate Social Investment, Engagement Programs at NGOs, and encouraging employee participation in campaigns like ‘Joy of Giving Week’.

RESPONSIBILITIES – MANAGERIAL

 

  • Effectively manage the HR team in their deliverables.
  • Develop recruiting strategy in line with Business Plan and implement the same. Help the Team align and adopt best practices in Recruitment & Selection to hire the best fit.
  • Review Organisation structure to align with the changing needs of the organisation and ensure a smooth market and delivery requirements.
  • Review KRAs in association with the HODs to ensure they contribute towards achieving the organisational objectives.
  • Mentor and guide leaders to manage their own performance and of their teams.
  • Attrition Analysis & Control – Identify key challenges and address them.
  • Revisit HR Policies and refine as per current needs. Revisit Processes, refine SOPs for process improvement.
  • Competency Mapping and Identifying Hi Potential employees and retaining them.
  • Work out T&D strategies towards building employee capabilities that enhance performance and productivity.
  • Initiatives towards employee Benefits.
  • As part of A Team, take ownership and contribute towards addressing challenges that adversely impact the organisation.
  • Analysis of HR Team visit reports to identify challenges at the ground level and help the team in addressing them in association with the HOD and respective Team Leader.
  • Apprise the Management of any matter that has adverse impact on the organisation and can be detrimental to its Brand Image and suggest measures to control it.
  • Provide and cultivate an environment of open communication across departments to bring about cross-departmental synergy and increase efficiency and effectiveness of the work being done.
  • Take ownership of the Projects being assigned by the CMD and accomplish the project goals as per timelines set.
  • Evaluate, analyse and implement measures for cost optimization and effectived utilization of all resources.

ESPONSIBILIIES - STATUTORY

 

  • Accountable to ensure Factory Compliances as per norms laid down by the government and Notices by the Government organizations are replied within timelines and in the best interest of the company.
  • Oversee compliance on Health & Safety parameters as per norms.
  • Ensure Staff Welfare measures as per statutory norms are implemented.
  • Ensure monthly, quarterly and yearly compliances of both financial and non-financial nature as per Statutory Acts of EPF, ESIC, Gratuity , Factories Act and Contract Labour are adhered to and there is no penalty on account of late payments.
  • Ensure Employee benefits of Mediclaim are renewed on time and at competitive rates.
  • Manage government officials visits wherever necessary.
  • Liaison with officials at government departments.
