Hyderabad: South Central Railway (SCR) has taken an initiative to address the grievances of Railway pensioners through the ‘Pensioners Help Desk’, which will be installed at the zonal headquarters at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad and all six divisions’ headquarters i.e. Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur and Nanded. The facility will also be made available at the workshops in Lallaguda, Guntapally, Renigunta and Mettuguda and the office of Chief Administrative Officer, Construction, Secunderabad from August 13 to September 14, according to press release.
All pensioners of SCR can take advantage of the help desk for lodging pension-related grievances, as well as obtain information relating to pension payment and the status of their 7th Central Pay Commission pension revision. Pensioners can approach the Help Desks at offices from where they have retired, along with a copy of the last issued Pension Payment Order (PPO) and service certificate, the release added.
