Hyderabad: To prepare guidelines on pay structure and related matters, the first Pay Revision Commission of Telangana on Friday invited suggestions, objections from employees, pensioners, departments, universities, urban and rural local bodies, and also service organisations. The PRC released a questionnaire seeking views and suggestions from employees and pensioners.
The State government appointed the first PRC with retired IAS officers CR Biswal as Chairman, C Umamaheswara Rao and Mohammed Ali Rafat as members. The objectives of the PRC include evolution of principles which may govern structure of emoluments and conditions of service, taking into account the total packet of benefits available to the employees of the State government, local bodies, aided institutions and non-teaching staff of universities.
To take opinions from as many people as possible, the PRC prepared a questionnaire. The questionnaire is available in the office of the PRC and also on the Finance Department’s website ‘https://finance.telangana.gov.in‘ to submit views and suggestions.
Taking into consideration the replies from the respondents, the PRC will prepare necessary guidelines on various issues, including scale of pay, allowances, increments, automatic advancement scheme, pension structure and other service conditions of employees, outsourcing staff and pensioners.
